About Faith Fellowship Church
Faith Fellowship was organized on October 11, 2005, and we held our first worship service in the Northwest Houston Seventh-day Adventist Church building in Spring, Texas, on Sunday, October 23. On our first Sunday, we had 48 people in attendance, along with Sunday school programs for adults through toddlers. We have been blessed from the very beginning with people who saw what needed to be done and did it!
Christian Education is one of our fundamental goals. That includes our infants all the way through our adults. We have excellent teachers who are trained in the Reformed faith and dedicated to the advancement of the Kingdom in this congregation and community.
We are a congregation of people who love each other and all of God’s children throughout the world. We take care of each other in ministering to physical, as well as emotional and spiritual needs, as they arise and are brought to our attention.
Out first pastor was Rev. W.A. “Bill” Fitzhenry. Pastor Bill served FFC faithfully for two years, giving us a firm foundation and a desire to grow into a church that serves its surrounding community.
In October, 2007, we became a member congregation of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, and we are excited to be part of this time-tested, faithful denomination. .
In January, 2008, Dr. Robert Ferguson answered the Lord’s call to serve as Senior Pastor of FFC and began his ministry with full time on January 20. Pastor Robert is excited about the vision and ministry of our congregation, and we are excited about how God will use him and us moving forward.
On March 16, 2008, we moved our worship services to Covenant Academy in Cypress, Texas. This move has allowed us to move into an area that does not have a large presence of Reformed churches, giving us a great opportunity to serve the Cypress, Spring, and Tomball communities.
We have one Sunday Service, so we can all unite together in worship. Believing that the praise of Our God is more important than any particular style of music, we sing both traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs in the manner they were each written, rather than try to make one sound like the other. We believe that you will find us a loving congregation, committed to each other, our community and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, needs, or concerns you may have. We desire to be of service to you in any way that we can!
